The Atrebor Group was founded in 2004 under the direction of Roberta Garzaroli, a fifteen year veteran of the public relations industry and a successful hotelier. The New York based public relations, marketing communications and promotions firm specializes in travel, hospitality, leisure and culinary accounts.

Our Team

Roberta Garzaroli – President

Roberta Garzaroli is the President of The Atrebor Group, Inc., where she applies her considerable expertise in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency and client accounts. After spending more than ten years at Jensen/Boga Inc., including five as the Executive Vice President, Garzaroli launched The Atrebor Group, Inc. in 2004.

The travel industry and the Caribbean are in Garzaroli’s blood. Born to hotelier parents, her family moved from Como, Italy to manage their five-star luxury property Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant in Nassau, Bahamas when she was ten. She learned the industry from the inside doing stints in all departments from a young age, today she continues to handle all of the company’s marketing.

Garzaroli’s accolades include the Marcella Martinez Award for unparalleled achievement in the design and implementation of successful programs to strengthen and support Caribbean tourism.

Fluent in Italian and English, and proficient in Spanish and French, Garzaroli is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with a B.S. in International Business and Management. Garzaroli is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).

Mary Brennan – Account Director

Mary Brennan is Account Director at The Atrebor Group Inc. Her experience spans over 25 years in travel and tourism marketing. At the Atrebor Group, her responsibilities include media relations and strategy; writing press materials; planning and coordinating press events; and monthly activity reporting/media analysis.

Brennan’s experience includes Blue Sky Luxury Villas, Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa (St. Lucia), Serenity at Coconut Bay (St. Lucia), Jolly Beach Resort & Spa (Antigua), Island Routes Adventure Tours, Chukka Caribbean Adventure Tours, the Curaçao Tourist Board, the Instituto Hondureño de Turismo (Honduras Tourism Institute), the St. Lucia Tourist Board, the Caribbean Tourism Organization, Anse Chastanet (St. Lucia), the Elegant Resorts of Jamaica, Cancun Visitor’s Bureau, Young Island Resort (St. Vincent), Jamaica Inn and the Los Cabos Tourism Board among others.

Mary worked at Marcella Martinez Associates for 16 years prior to joining The Atrebor Group, and before that was a corporate bond trader at Mabon Nugent & Co. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University. She is a member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).
